e-Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. The e-Gift Card
1.1. The e-Gift Card is a gift voucher that can be purchased online by accessing the website www.trameatelier.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), which can be used for personal purchases or to be given as a gift to a third party.
1.2. The e-Gift Card with the TRAME brand is issued and sold by “Paola Palopoli Impresa Individuale, with registered office in Rome (RM) - 00184 Via Panisperna 55 | VAT number 10713681004 (hereinafter “TRAME” or “Issuer” or “Seller”)” to be used - exclusively - for the purchase of products on sale on the Site.
1.3. The purchase and use of the e-Gift Card is governed by the “ e-Gift Card Terms and Conditions” set out below which are accepted upon purchase of the e-Gift Card .
1.4. The purchase of products sold by accessing the Site, however, is governed by the General Conditions of Sale which can be consulted on the Site. For anything not otherwise established in these “Terms and conditions relating to e-Gift Cards ”, full reference is made to the subject of the General Conditions of Sale .
1.5. The Issuer reserves the right to interpret, modify or terminate the “ e-Gift Card Terms and Conditions” without notice.
1.6. The most current version of the “ e-Gift Card Terms and Conditions” will always be available on this page.
1.7. The TRAME e-Gift Card is issued exclusively in digital format.
2. Purchase of e-Gift Card
2.1. The customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Purchaser”) who wishes to purchase an e-Gift Card must proceed by sending a specific electronic order to the Seller. To do so, the Purchaser must access the Site and proceed by adding the product indicated as the e-Gift Card to the “Cart”.
2.2. The amount of the e-Gift Cards is indicated from time to time by the Issuer and up to the maximum amount provided for by the laws and policies of the Issuer: in Italy as of the date 4999/00€.
2.3. When adding the product, the Buyer will be able to choose between the values of the e-Gift Cards present on the Site and choose the quantity; furthermore, he/she will be able to choose whether to give the e-Gift Card as a gift and in this case he/she will have to indicate a valid e-mail address of the Beneficiary, as well as optionally the name of the Beneficiary, a free text and the date of sending of the e-Gift Card (within the following 90 days).
2.4. After adding the chosen product, in the next checkout phase the Buyer will be asked to enter his personal data, for billing, through specific electronic forms; if the gift option - mentioned above - has not been used, the Buyer's email will coincide with that of the Beneficiary.
2.5. It is the Buyer's responsibility to verify that a valid email address of the Beneficiary has been entered, as, in the event of an invalid email address being entered, no liability can be attributed to the Seller.
2.6. In the event of the purchase of an e-Gift Card made on behalf of a third party, the Buyer must enter the data of the recipient of the purchase during the order, declaring that he/she has full authority to use the data of such third party and assuming all exclusive responsibility in this regard.
2.7. By sending the order form the Buyer confirms that he knows and accepts unconditionally:

3. Payment of the e-Gift Card
3.1. You can purchase a TRAME e-Gift Card with the payment methods available on the Site (Credit Cards / PAYPAL).
3.2. It is not possible to pay for a TRAME e-Gift Card using another TRAME e-Gift Card or Vouchers/Promotional Codes.
3.3. The value of the e-Gift Card constitutes the purchase price of the same.
4. How to use the e-Gift Card
4.1. Upon conclusion of the purchase, and in any case within the following 24 hours, the Buyer will receive a purchase confirmation email containing the order summary. At the same time, or on a different sending date indicated by the Buyer, an email will be sent to the Beneficiary of the e-Gift Card , to the email address indicated by the Buyer at the time of purchase, with the information relating to the e-Gift Card which will be immediately usable as it is already active.
4.2. The Beneficiary who wishes to proceed with the purchase using the e-Gift Card must follow the purchase procedure specified in the General Conditions of Sale available on the Site, entering the code associated with the e-Gift Card in the “Gift Voucher” field of the “CHECKOUT” form.
4.3. The e-Gift Card can be used multiple times until its value is exhausted and in any case within 365 days from the date of issue. After each purchase, the credit on the e-Gift Card will be automatically reduced by the amount used, until it is completely exhausted. You can check the updated balance of the e-Gift Card on the Site.
4.4. If the initial or residual value of the e-Gift Card is not sufficient to make the desired purchase on the Site, the missing amount may be paid with the additional payment methods provided for purchases on the Site (Credit Cards or PAYPAL).
4.5. The purchase of Products on the Site using an e-Gift Card is governed by the provisions of the General Conditions of Sale available on the Site.
4.6. The e-Gift Card is intended exclusively for the personal use of the Beneficiary and cannot be sold to third parties.
4.7. The e-Gift Card can be used to purchase only products sold by accessing the Site; it cannot be used to purchase another e-Gift Card and its value is not convertible into cash.
4.8. In Italy, e-Gift Cards can be used with a limit of €4999/00 per transaction.
4.9. The e-Gift Card is a bearer title equivalent to cash. Therefore, if the same is used improperly, lost, stolen and/or damaged, it cannot be blocked and/or replaced and/or refunded. Furthermore, no responsibility can be attributed to the Seller for any improper and/or fraudulent use of the e-Gift Card .
4.10. The risk of loss and ownership of the e-Gift Card , in fact, are transferred to the Purchaser and/or the Beneficiary at the time of electronic transmission of the e-Gift Card to the e-mail address indicated by the Purchaser when purchasing the e-Gift Card .
4.11. e-Gift Cards obtained by any fraudulent or illegal means will be considered null and void and, therefore, cannot be used to purchase products offered for sale on the Site.
5. Right of withdrawal from the purchase of e-Gift Cards
5.1. The Buyer, as a consumer pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 (fourteen) days of purchasing the e-Gift Card in the manner best indicated in articles 7 and 8 of the General Conditions of Sale and the Right of Withdrawal available on the Site, with the exception of what is valid exclusively for the withdrawal from the purchase of products other than the e-Gift Card .
5.2. The right of withdrawal is expressly excluded in the event of use, even partial, of the e-Gift Card itself and can be exercised only by the Purchaser of the e-Gift Card .
5.3. In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal with respect to the purchase of an e-Gift Card , once the communication of withdrawal has been received and the non-use of the same has been verified, the Seller will refund the amount paid for the purchase as quickly as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days from the date on which the Seller became aware of the withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same payment methods used for the purchase of the e-Gift Card .
5.4. When the Seller receives communication of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Buyer, after verifying that the e-Gift Card has never been used, an email will also be sent to the Beneficiary of the e-Gift Card , containing the indication that, following the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Buyer, the e-Gift Card can no longer be used.
6. Returns and right of withdrawal for products purchased with the e-Gift Card
6.1. In the event of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Beneficiary and therefore the return of a product purchased using only an e-Gift Card , the refund of the payment will take place through the issuing by the Seller of a voucher, which can be used for subsequent purchases made on the Site, with the same validity as that of the e-Gift Card used.
6.2. If the withdrawal and return, however, concern an order paid using a payment method other than the e-Gift Card , the refund will be made, for the value of the e-Gift Card , by issuing a voucher by the Seller as better specified above and, for any excess over the value of the e-Gift Card , with the same payment method chosen by the Beneficiary at the time of purchase. In this case, if the withdrawal is partial and the return concerns only some of the products purchased, the refund will be made as a priority using the payment method of the e-Gift Card .
6.3. With regard to the methods and terms relating to the exercise of the right of withdrawal and the return of products purchased using an e-Gift Card, full reference is made here to the provisions of articles 7 and 8 of the General Conditions of Sale and the Right of Withdrawal which can be consulted on the Site.
7. Validity
7.1. The TRAME e-Gift Card is valid for 365 days from the date of activation. You can check your e-Gift Card balance at any time by accessing your reserved area.
7.2. Upon expiration of the validity period, the TRAME e-Gift Card will be deactivated and can no longer be used and any residual credit cannot be refunded in any way and/or transferred to other e-Gift Cards.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1. Since the e-Gift Card is issued in electronic format, the Issuer cannot be held responsible for failure to receive or delay in receiving the e-Gift Card by the recipient due to causes of force majeure and in any case not attributable in any way to the Issuer such as, by way of example and not limited to: (i) poor functioning or interruption of the lines and/or communication systems; (ii) delay in the transmission of information or data or loss of information or data that may occur for one of the causes indicated in the previous point (i); (iii) inaccuracy of the data of the recipient of the e-Gift Card provided by the purchaser of the same; (iv) circumstance that the email sent by the Issuer is considered as spam or unwanted mail.
9. Miscellaneous
9.1. Where the Issuer believes that an administrative, billing or accounting error has occurred, it reserves the right to correct the balance of the e-Gift Card . If you have any questions about your transaction history or any corrections, or if you wish to dispute a transaction or correction made on your e-Gift Card , or for any other complaint, please contact the Issuer via: contact@trameatelier.com
9.2. The e-Gift Card may not be used for advertising or promotional purposes of products or services marketed by third parties external to the Issuer, unless previously and expressly authorised by the Issuer.
9.3. The e-Gift Card merely allows a payment method and is not intended in any way as an investment tool and/or an incentive to save.
9.4. The e-Gift Card is a limited payment service, therefore not subject to the regulation relating to the PSD2 directive (EBA Guidelines).
9.5. The purchase and use of the e-Gift Card imply acceptance of these terms and conditions of use. The Issuer reserves the right to modify and/or amend, at its discretion and at any time, these terms and conditions.
9.6. Nothing in these terms and conditions of use shall be construed as limiting in any way any statutory rights of the consumer under the law of the country of habitual residence and the Issuer does not exclude any obligations or liabilities which it is required to accept by law.
9.7. Any dispute relating to the use of the e-Gift Card will be governed by Italian law for any dispute relating to the application, execution and interpretation of these terms of use.
10. Legislation and Competent Court
10.1. The “Terms and Conditions relating to e-Gift Cards ” are subject exclusively to Italian law.
10.2. Except where mandatory provisions of law are required, including regulations for the protection of consumers, if the Customer is not a Consumer and/or does not reside in the territory of the Italian Republic, any disputes that may arise in the interpretation and execution of the "Terms and conditions relating to e-Gift Cards " will be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the Court in which the Seller has its registered office.
11. Processing of personal data
11.1. Pursuant to art. 14 of European Regulation no. 2016/679, Paola Palopoli, in her capacity as “Data Controller” informs you that the personal data provided by a third party for the use of the “ e-Gift Card ” services will be processed in accordance with the provisions of this information notice. The origin of the processing is to be identified in the signing of a so-called “contract in favor of a third party” (regulated by articles 1411, 1412 and 1413 of the Civil Code) in which the recipient of the e-Gift Card has been identified by the stipulator as the subject to whom the service/good agreed with the promisor ( e-Gift Card supplier) will be provided. The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). The Data Controller and the DPO can be contacted at the headquarters or by writing to the e-mail address contatto@trameatelier.com . The personal data (name and email address of the recipient of the e-Gift Card ), collected through the purchaser of the e-Gift Card , are processed and used exclusively for the purpose of sending and using the e-Gift Card . The legal basis for data processing lies in art. 6, 1 letter b) of European Regulation no. 2016/679 (processing is necessary for the execution of a contract to which the interested party is a party). The data collected are stored for the time necessary for the delivery and use of the e-Gift Card . We also remind you that it is always possible to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (for Italy, the Personal Data Protection Authority, Rome; website www.gpdp.it or www.garanteprivacy.it, email protocollo@gpdp.it, PEC protocollo@pec.gpdp.it).
This regulation applies to all TRAME e-Gift Cards issued from 03/31/2025.
