Right of withdrawal

The aim of Paola Palopoli ("the Seller" or “TRAME”) is to guarantee your complete satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you can exercise your right of withdrawal, without any penalty, within fourteen (14) days from the day you received the products purchased on www.trameatelier.com. The products to be returned must be delivered to the courier within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you communicated to the Seller your decision to withdraw from the contract. The products can be returned by shipping the package, preferably via the courier used by the Seller for shipping (DHL), or via another shipping agent, only after having filled out and sent to contatto@trameatelier.com the Return Form (compliant with the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code) that you can find online in the "Customer Service" area to obtain the return number (the Seller will send you confirmation by email of receipt of the withdrawal request sent via the Return Form), or after having drawn up and sent to the Seller another explicit declaration of your decision to withdraw from the contract, without prejudice, in this second hypothesis, to the fact that you will be responsible for proving the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal.

1. Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is considered to be correctly exercised if the following conditions are fully respected:


a. the duly completed Return Form sent to the email contatto@trameatelier.com or other explicit declaration of your decision to withdraw from the contract must be correctly completed and sent to the Seller within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the products;
b. the products must not have been used, worn or washed and must necessarily comply with the requirements described in the “Compliance checks” section below;
c. the identification tag must still be attached to the products with any disposable seal which forms an integral part of the item;
d. products must be returned in their original packaging;
g. the returned products must be delivered to the carrier within fourteen (14) days from when you communicated to the Seller your decision to withdraw from the contract;
h. the products must not be damaged.


If you have complied with all the required conditions, the Seller will refund you in full the price of the products purchased, with the return costs remaining at your expense and any costs incurred by the Seller for the return to Italy (duties, taxes, customs clearance, etc.).


2.Compliance Checks
Our products must be returned unused and new, in perfect condition and complete with all protective materials, with any labels and tags attached and including all accessories and documents. In the event that the product shows signs of wear or has been used or altered in any way from the original condition, we reserve the right to not accept the return or, alternatively, to reduce the amount of the refund or exchange.
For example, we may reduce your refund for any of the following circumstances:

  • the product or products have been used, worn, damaged or washed;
  • the identification tag, with any disposable seal, is not attached to the product (or products) or has not been returned. We remind you that the identification tag is an integral part of each product;
  • you have not returned the packaging which is an integral part of the product (for example the dust bag).

If it is necessary to reduce your refund for one of these reasons, we will inform you. In this case, you may (as an alternative to the reduced refund) choose to have the products sent back to you at your expense and reimburse the Seller for any costs incurred for the return to Italy (duties, taxes, customs clearance, etc.). If you refuse this option, the Seller reserves the right to retain the products and the amount indicated for the reduction of the refund, in addition to any costs incurred by the Seller for the return to Italy (duties, taxes, customs clearance, etc.), due to the reduced value of the returned products.
You will be contacted if your return cannot be accepted because it does not comply with the conditions set out above in letters a) to h) of the previous paragraph. In this case, you can choose to have the purchased products returned at your expense and reimburse the Seller for any costs incurred for the return to Italy (duties, taxes, customs clearance, etc.). If you refuse this shipment, the Seller reserves the right to retain the products and the amount corresponding to the purchase price of the products

3. Refund times and methods
After the Seller has received your return and checked that all the requirements have been met, you will receive an email confirming acceptance of the return, or, if a decrease in value of the returned products is found, you will receive an email informing you of the amount deducted as a reduction in the refund. In any case, any costs incurred by the Seller for the return to Italy (duties, taxes, customs clearance, etc.) will be deducted from the refund.

Whatever payment method you used (credit/debit card, PayPal), the refund is activated by the Seller as soon as possible, and in any case within fourteen (14) days from the date on which the returned item is returned to him, once it has been verified that the withdrawal has taken place in compliance with the conditions set out above.
The actual time for the crediting or refund of the sums paid by you for the purchase of the products depends on the payment methods used:

  • Credit/debit card purchase: Refund time depends on your credit/debit card company, but usually occurs within two bank statements.
  • purchase via PayPal (if available): the refund will be made to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately. The actual refund to your credit card from your PayPal account depends on the institution that issued the card.


4. Exclusions

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods made according to specific requests of the consumer (tailor-made dress, unique customizations, etc.); in this case it is not possible to withdraw from the contract.


5. Consumer Code
These Conditions for the exercise of the right of withdrawal, forming an integral part of the General Conditions of Sale, are governed by Italian law and in particular by Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206, on the consumer code in Chapter I "Consumer rights in contracts".
