It is a wool jacket. A soft tweed: with a micro houndstooth pattern in olive green and tobacco tones. A wool that holds its shape.

The cut is short and structured. Mandarin collar, straight and closed, defined waist. The distinctive feature is the ties. No buttons: brown silk ties, hand-tied, four on the front. An antique detail that closes the jacket like a jewel.

The sleeves are the second distinctive feature. Slightly puffed at the shoulder, marked by small pleats that give volume without puffing out. From there they fall straight to the wrist.

Below the waist, the peplum. A small stiff ruffle that goes all around and shapes the hip, without adding volume.

A garment designed to last over time. It was born with its skirt. Same fabric, same feel, wide pleats at the waist that start under the peplum and fall long. Together it is a suit, but not for the office: it is a country, village outfit.

Separately, it works over a long pashmina dress - like the apricot Eremo - or over jeans and a white shirt, open with the ties untied.
