It is a cashmere pashmina dress. A genuine pashmina, lightweight yet substantial, dry to the touch, with the irregular texture of hand-spun cashmere.

The color is apricot. A warm beige with hints of pink and yellow, like fruit pulp.

The cut is gathered and austere. High round neckline, long sleeves with a subtle puff at the shoulder. 

The waist is gathered, and from there the skirt falls softly to the ankle.

Hidden within the gathering are pockets. Invisible, deep enough.

The only decorative concession is the belt. A hand-braided cord with a long tassel, which ties at the waist without constricting.
